Young Blood and Mark's Video

Make up was inspired by the Bondi beach (bondi blue)  in Sydney and its clear blue sky.  Eyes by Coastal Scents, Tinted moisturizer by Nu Skin,  eyebrow pencil from The Face Shop, MAC waterproof eyeliner,  Cover Girl mascara, Chanel lipstick

On Millie : Sheer cover up from my sister, thrifted black spag, Diesel Leather belt, Forever21 denim shorts & accessories, bangles from all over the world (gifts from mum, grandma, aunties etc), Janylin blue wedges (loving my Alexander McQueen inspired ring!)

On Mark: Zara Man shirt,  People are People denim pants, Chucks, white and gold Addidas watch

Mark's short hello and a video I made for him. My sister Margaret took pity on me and helped me make this video for Mark. I feel really bad that I spent 6am-8pm getting ready/working at the office, making Mark wait for me so we could have at least 8pm-11pm together after he spent 1k+ dollars on plane ticket just to be with me. You cannot imagine how terrible I feel Mark. Thank you so much. I love you with all my heart.

Insular Life 100 Plus 1 National Campaign

I was fortunate enough to be included in Insular Life's 100 Plus 1 National Ad Campaign. I'm the girl in the middle with my skirt almost up.
I think it's everyone's first national ad. Check out our jump shot at any Insular Life district office or Jollibee stores nationwide. :))

Tres Libras (3 Libras)

blazer from Topshop, vintage coca cola tshirt from Thailand, leather belt from Diesel, shorts from Supre, accessories from Diva (sydney), lacy knee high stockings from David Jones

"threw you the obvious and you flew
with it on your back, a name in your recollection,
thrown down among a million same.
difficult not to feel a little bit disappointed
and passed over
when i've looked right through
to see you naked and oblivious
you don't see me.but i threw you the obvious
just to see if there's more behind the eyes
of a fallen angel,
the eyes of a tragedy.
here i am expecting just a little bit
too much from the wounded.
but i see through it all
and see you.
so i threw you the obvious
to see what occurs behind the eyes of a fallen angel,
eyes of a tragedy.
oh well. apparently nothing.
you don't see me.
you don't see me at all"

2009 Sydney. This was definitely not taken in Manila. If I dared walk the streets of Alabang or Makati wearing those lacy knee high stockings and leather boots 2 years ago, I bet you the heavens would open and strike me with a chorus of Padre Damaso and my grandmother drowning me with every word associated to women who make transactions with their flesh. I'm actually glad that I see a lot of girls trudging the path of Anna Wintour, leaving their jeans+shirt+Havs combination in their college backpacks. I love daring women and kids who are not afraid to experiment with their style. I feel comfortable around the UP Fine Arts building, cosplays, anime conventions, B-Side or  Cubao  X. Although the fashion industry is slowly progressing in the country, please be wary not to look like a lookbook.nu carbon copy or whatnot. My outfit may seem lookbookish but when it was taken, I was actually inspired by the young/indie/university crowd in Sydney where I stayed for a while so yeah, take that as an excuse. Bwaha. Anyway, inspired by the internet or not, I'm glad some Filipinos are becoming more daring when it comes to fashion choices. I myself follow my own rule: be fashionably comfortable. I vowed never to wear anything that would give me discomfort so even if you see me in 6 inch heels, I can assure you I will not trip like a hoe on coke.

My Top 5 Sex Kittens and a Sexytime Playlist

It's the way they stare, their attitude, the way they talk, dress and the roles they play. They are the vixens I channel when I want to feel sexy. I've always admired women who are open about their sexuality and who carry themselves with confidence. Very attractive indeed. Let these pictures inspire you.
Let me share with you my TOP 5 SEXY PLAYLIST for times when you need that little "push" to make you feel better about your body and to give you a bit of an attitude:

Red Roses For A Blue Lady

"blue dress I bought last year from Sugaritta, rings from Sydney, pearls from my mother, necktie used as a headband from my uncle, white bow sandals from Rustan's (pics were taken last year, I only got the hang of posting them now)"

"Red roses for a blue lady
Mister florist take my order please
We had a silly quarrel the other day
I hope these pretty flowers chase her blues away

Red roses for a blue lady
Send them to the sweetest gal in town
And if they do the trick, I'll hurry back to pick
Your best white orchid for her wedding gown"

This is my rain song. Such a sweet melody. I wish someone would sing this to me or better yet, dance this with me in a ball room full of lovers carefully caressing each other's arms, wary of each other's feet. I have a penchant for 30s-50s fashion, hair, make-up and music-slow and sensual, like a good wine sliding in your throat. My body would be delighted for the warmth of a tasty drink since it has been raining for a few days now. It seemed that today, the skies peered into my soul and asked the clouds to cry with me when I took Mark to the airport a while ago. I was inconsolable. I badly need a comforting dance right now.

The Brilliance That Is Helena Bonham Carter

I firmly believe that she is one of the most underrated actresses in the world. She is pure talent I tell you. I can't quite comprehend my fascination with cooky women and their ability to exercise big hair, corsets and dark liner in front of wolves that are normal boring people. With an array of period movies, gap teeth and a maniacal laugh, you can't help but fall in love with this strangely alluring woman. She resonates with every bit of my being searching for freedom. I covet her job which entitles you to be someone else and actually get paid for it. The presence as regal as the personalities she played--the brilliance that is Helena Bonham Carter.

Nu Skin Tinted Moisturizer Review

Nu Skin tinted moisturizer, indoor lighting around 4PM

Nu Skin tinted moisturizer, indoor lighting around 11PM. No retouch.

Item: Nu Skin/ Nu Colour Tinted Moisturizer
What it has acc to the packaging/website etc: Naturally sheer color. Mirror and reflect your natural skin tone with Skin Beneficial Tinted Moisturizer. This lightweight tinted moisturizer uses microprism powders to impart an even, healthy glow. While highlighting your true color, it also delivers skin-beneficial vitamins A and E, oil-free moisture, and SPF 15 to help prevent environmental damage.
Price: 1, 815 Php, 40 grams
Color:  Sand, Honey, Fair and Beige
-Lightweight, almost as if  you're not wearing make up
-good texture, creamy, doesn't dry out fast
-Blended well on my skin tone
-Easy application
-Moisturized my skin really well even in my freezing office
-I really didn't need to retouch too much
-I only use concealer after this so it's also a good make-up base
-Nice packaging, pump is very helpful as it does not waste moisturizer
-Coverage is good
-good for any skin type
-Lasted til night
-Easy to wash off
-Worked well with my other make-up
-smells good
-has a dewy, glowy finish
-good for everyday use
-has SPF 15 and vitamins

-If you really have bad skin and would want maximum coverage then you need to put foundation after this since it's very light.
-can get a bit sticky at night around 11PM or maybe it's just my oily skin
-quite small for the price I think
-If you need more coverage, you need to reapply more

Verdict: I really like it and would gladly finish the whole bottle. Would stop using my BB cream for a while and use this since it really moisturizes my face and gives me a good dewy glow. This blends better on my skin tone than my BB cream so it's a plus and I don't have to use too much make up products.

Girl, Interrupted

Grey cardigan from Zara, skirt from Kamiseta
I haven't done a shoot in a while. With so many things going on in my head, I just wanted a simple, comfortable outfit taken in  black and white. During this shoot, I noticed that most of my pics turned sad and serious. I wasn't acting or anything, I did have a cause for melancholy. I've been troubled for a while because of some regrettable decisions I made. Sometimes it's good to think about these things. Sometimes, we should welcome sadness as a friend passing by.

Insular Life X Jollibee

I was lucky enough to be included in our company's ad. Out of nowhere, our supervisor called and told us to meet with our VP and AVP. We really didn't know that we'd be having a photoshoot. This ad is for a project with Jollibee and we have been testing an online program for this. We had to jump like 50x to get the perfect shot in front of our building and on top. I did this in heels with my new shoes. I was scared I'd break my ankle since it was very slippery haha! I thought it would be very windy but alas, it was bloody hot and there was no wind on top of the building. I was a bit thankful though since I was having a hard time keeping my super flowy dress from showing my insides. It was all worth it in the end. We had so much fun and I can now scratch one item in my bucket list : To be able to stand on top of a tall building on a helipad :)
